About the REP

The role of the Regional Empowerment Partnership (REP) is to improve the quality of community empowerment activity within the region, so that citizens and communities can increase their ability to influence decisions.

Who is the REP?

The REP is a partnership of government agencies, local authorities and voluntary and community sector organisations. It works together to develop resources and guide and share community empowerment good practice within the East of England.

REP Action Plan

Funding has been secured for the Regional Empowerment Partnership (REP) to deliver a comprehensive package of Empowerment support. Find out more about what will be happening in the region in 2010/11.

Targeted Support to Local Authorities

As part of the Regional Empowerment Partnership, Inspire East are co-ordinating a new programme of work called Targeted Support, to improve empowerment and participation in the region.

Improvement East

Improvement East are an active member of the Regional Empowerment Partnership, and funded a significant amount of activity in 2009/10.

How well are we doing?

Resources 4 Change were appointed by the REP to undertake an evaluation of the 2009/2010 REP programme. This report highlights findings, key learning and recommendtions which have been used to inform the REP Year 4 Action Plan. A summary of key findings and recommendations is also available.

There is an Acting Community Manager, two Project Co-ordinators and an Administrator working on programme delivery and providing support for the steering group and the task and finish groups.
