Waterwise East Aims and Objectives

 

 

Aim

 

Work with key partners to reduce water demand in domestic and service sector buildings within the region, initially focussed on new development.

 

Objectives

 

1. Build partnerships with developers, planners and users to reduce water demand in new development.

2. Represent and be the authoritative voice for water efficiency within and for the region, working in particular with local planning authorities and developers.

3. In the longer term, reduce water demand in existing housing and service sector buildings through a variety of measures including retro-fitting, and in liaison with related activities, consider the need for further work in other sectors.
