Welcome to Inspire East

How well are we doing?

In 2009/10, the Regional Empowerment Partnership (REP) for the East of England has been very busy. The team has delivered a wide variety of support, training and networking activities right across the region; it has commissioned several pieces of research; it has produced many different resources and materials, now available on the REP website.

The REP Steering Group and staff wanted to reflect on all of this, in particular to find out what difference the REP had made in 2009/10 and to draw out the learning to inform what the REP does in 2010/2011.

Following competitive tender, Resources for Change (R4C) was commissioned to do the evaluation, according to a brief worked up by the REP. Between January and March 2010, the R4C team gathered information from individuals and organisations who had in some way been involved with the REP during 2009/10. These included REP staff, the Steering Group, funders, consultants to the REP, people who had taken part in REP activities and organisations that the REP works with, including EEDA.
