This event aims to consider the lessons from Cambourne for the development of other new settlements in the region. It brings together a broad range of speakers to cover the history and development of Cambourne together with a number of specific issues such as social housing and health.

The event will also launch a new study of Cambourne. 'Lessons from Cambourne' provides a unique insight into the development of Cambourne.   The study combined a comprehensive literature review with interviews with over 50 stakeholders. The result is a series of practical lessons that can be applied in the planning and development of other new settlements across the region.
