Use the good and excellent standards below to help you develop your project in line with the government definition: Sense of place - a place with a positive 'feeling' for people and local distinctiveness 


Good standard: your project will demonstrate the ability to achieve the Silver Standard in the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and House Builders Federation (HBF) Building for Life.  Particular reference should be given to the 'Character' section (questions 6-10).

Excellent standard: your project will demonstrate the ability to achieve Gold Standard in the CABE and HBF Building for Life.  Particular reference should be given to the 'Character' section (questions 6-10).
